Volunteers were invited to interact with a panel consisting of parents of four program participants. This panel discussion allowed the parents to give insight as to how their participant learns, what challenges he/she faces, what their goals are and how we can help achieve those goals. Volunteers had the opportunity to ask questions and get feedback on our interactions with these individuals. It was a great learning experience for all.
After the panel discussion, Andrew Braun gave demonstration and explanation of proper use of portable fire extinguishers.
Our next Volunteer Training is scheduled for September 18th. 6pm at the program facility, Three Crowns Ranch, 10854 Greenwood Street, Brainerd.
