The 2024 Volunteer Banquet was held on December 3rd at our facility, Tres Coronas Rancho/Three Crowns Ranch. 18 volunteers joined the celebration along with 5 guests. They were treated to a meal and dessert provided by the BOD and Staff.
Recognition Awards were given to the Volunteer with the Most Hours (Chris Geisler), The Newest Volunteer with the Most Hours (Chad Keppers), and Volunteer Assistant with the Most Hours (Courtney Gunderson). Volunteers also received incentive awards based on the cumulative number of hours they have given since their start date. Chris, Kari, Chad, Nikki, Sandy Stefanoc, and Cindy were the recipients of these items.
A special award is given to the Volunteer who has completed more than 500 hours with ME. Sandy Strom-Gieseke received the “Beyond the Jacket” award for 2024.
Jen Kalenberg was selected as the Volunteer of the Year for 2024. Jen was selected by her peers who acknowledged her dedication to the program by honoring her with this award.
We are grateful for all of our volunteers and for the time and commitment they show every time they show up to volunteer at the barn, special events, board meetings or any time we need an extra hand. “Thank you” does not say enough!
