October brought another opportunity for the Mounted Eagles’ program participants to Show Off in the annual participant horse show. Each participant exhibited the skills and techniques they have learned over the past year in their choice of two classes. They were judged on their execution of reining skills by completing pole weaving patterns, equitation skills and maneuvering through obstacle courses. Each class contained four exhibitors, and each horseman won a ribbon based on the judge’s decision as to their accomplishments and/or time it took them to complete the class.
Parents, Caregivers and Family Members attended the event to support and encourage each participant. It’s always a great day when Mounted Eagles’ participants get to “Show Off”!
